The SHBA is dedicated to preserving and growing the number of Shires in Australia and the show is an opportunity to continue to promote the Shire breed in Australia, as well as heavy horses generally.
 
The event is also a great opportunity for stud and heavy horse owners in the area who would love to further promote their own businesses to horse owners.

Berry Country FairBerry Country Fair has approximately 200 stalls selling handmade / hand-produced products, arts and crafts, locally grown vegetables and produce, collectables, books, plants, leather goods, clothing and many other interesting stalls to browse.

There is also an animal farm for the children and free entertainment throughout the market.
