We’d like to welcome new members The Fold Southern Highlands and congratulate them on a successful launch just before Christmas. Their new and vibrant local content platform is all about ‘love living local’, designed to promote the amazing businesses, events and people in the Highlands. They are getting great traction, so we encourage you to check them out and feel free to contact Rebecca Guest via firstname.lastname@example.org or 1300 968 104 if you’d like to know more about what they are doing.
The monthly Chamber Diary has been going from strength to strength. Feedback from our members has been positive and engagement levels with all forms of communication from the chamber have subsequently risen. If you don’t already follow us (on Facebook) or the Southern Highlands Food and Wine Clusters (on Facebook and Instagram) then please do so. It’s a great way to see what’s going on in your local area and keep up to date on opportunities to network and cross promote.
The Chamber Diary is circulated not only to members but to a database of accommodation providers, real estate agents and tour operators. So, if you have anything coming up then make sure you submit details to our coordinator ASAP so we can help you spread the word.
Further to this in early March, we will be meeting with the Tourism Minister, Adam Marshall to discuss grant opportunities for the continued growth of the mid-week economy. We are following up on all leads for grants and sponsorship so we can continue to open the last three of our clusters. An update on developments will be provided in our next newsletter.
