Southern Highlands 1200 Anzac Centenary Exhibition @ Berrima District Museum | Berrima | New South Wales | Australia

For the first time all the names of those remembered by their community on WWI memorials in the Southern Highlands district.are together on the wall of the new Williams Gallery at Berrima District Museum. Stories of the men and women who served are on the opposite wall. Artifacts are displayed in two very fine showcases.

There are 8 iPads set up at a comfortable table so through the Southern Highlands1200 data base, visitors can look up WWI war records on the National Archives ‘Discovering Anzacs’ website. Over the course of the exhibition it is hoped that descendants may come forward with more or new information about their relative.

The research over ten years by Linda Emery, Berrima District Historical Society Archivist has resulted in a very impressive exhibition. This is the major Anzac Centenary exhibition for the district and should not to be missed.
