UOW Southern Highlands is part of the University of Wollongong multi-campus regional network, providing access to a world-class university education – in 2015 ranked the best for teaching and learning in Australia – to the local community.
UOW has a purpose built facility within the grounds of the Moss Vale TAFE, with teaching rooms, seminar room, computer lab, video conference facilities, and a common room with kitchen facilities. Shared facilities with TAFE include a canteen, library and counselling services.

In addition to completing the nationally accredited Cert IV qualification, students enrol in a transition and bridging program taught by UOW which offers students a guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Arts. The transition subject offers tertiary academic skills to prepare students for success at University, and includes career workshops and access to UOW student support services.
The Leadership and Management modules develop important front-line management skills for people working in organisations and businesses of all types.
