Trout are prolific in the pristine streams of Robertson, but there’s an easier path than fly fishing to enjoy these most delicious of fresh fish. You’ll find hobby farmer Dennis Dorling’s delicious rainbow trout on menus in Robertson and Moss Vale cluster. There’s a distinct flavour difference and delicate flesh to the farmed trout that are freshly prepped-to-order. Although the farm itself isn’t open to the public, you can order fresh trout to take home by calling Dennis the day before the fish are required.
